Fun at Sabrina Lake

Fun at Sabrina Lake

We are staying another night in the Bishop area but we moved to the Sabrina Lake Campground on federal land.  This is the best campsite we’ve had yet on this trip.  It’s in the mountains and we have a large, fairly remote campsite surrounded by aspen trees and boulders.  After setting up camp early, we kayaked Lake Sabrina.  It’s a small-ish lake but we really enjoyed getting out on the water again.  Iris liked finding a private beach and sniffing around off-leash.  We are enjoying spending time in the campsite doing nothing but just camping.

Iris update:  She’s doing great today.  She is barely limping and is feeling spry and jumping around.  We’re trying to keep her mellow but are thrilled to see her feeling much better.  We’ll give it another couple of days and then start taking walks again and see how she does.  We’re looking forward to taking the walks together too.
