Not our best weekend

Mike was sick at the beginning of last week but he got over the main part after a few days.  He’s still quite snuffily.  I got something at the end of last week and it really laid me out this weekend.  Yesterday, wasn’t too bad. We got a lot of errands done and enjoyed a really nice lunch together at the Chapel Hill McMenamins, and got another stamp in our passport books.  The rest of the afternoon involved us watching tv and going to bed really early. Today was another story.  I woke up with miserable pain in my throat and chest.  I barely got out of bed and then became dizzy and nauseous.  Mike ran me up some bread, which helped a ton.  I went back to bed, woke up for breakfast, and rotated between napping on the couch and in bed until noon.  At noon, I finally got up and felt human.  Iris laid with me the entire time.  Mike was so sweet and waited on me today.  We took a walk and then I sat in front of the TV the rest of the day while Mike did some work.  We watched Wild this afternoon and enjoyed it.  It’ll probably be an early bed for us tonight.
