My visit to Beverly Hills

My visit to Beverly Hills

I attended an asbestos law conference followed by a client meeting in Beverly Hills. The conference was at the Beverly Wilshire (think Pretty Woman) but I stayed a few blocks further down Wilshire Blvd. The hotel was OK. The Beverly Wilshire is exactly how I imagined.

We saw a Burgatti parked at the Beverly Wilshire. It was owned by a rapper and worth $1.5M. The Enzo Ferrari beside it was only worth $1M and the yellow Lotus was sassy looking but didn’t impress as much as the other two.

The conference and client meeting were good. I met a lot of people and hopefully made good connections with an insurer. The food was really good.

I ran two mornings. The first morning, I just ran Rodeo Drive to Santa Monica Blvd and then followed the little park trail. This morning, I wasn’t in the mood to run so I planned to go for an easy three miles. I decided to run the other direction on Santa Monica and then up to Sunset Blvd, just to say I saw it. The plan was to then turn right on Rodeo Drive and make a small loop. I missed Rodeo Drive and ended up in West Hollywood. That was cool but it was about a 6 mile loop and I had to rush this morning.

Overall, it was a good trip. And because I was intimidated by Beverly Hills, I now have a new purse that I love and new clothes that I love even more.
